Business Rotational Program - Procurement
About The Position
This is an entry-level position as a part of a development rotational program, targeted for recent graduates. Individuals rotate through at least 2, up to 4 positions in different areas of Procurement. The Procurement eXcelerated Rotational Program (XRP) includes numerous training and development aspects such as mentorship, plant tours, individual development plans (IDPs), networking, soft skill development & training (e.g., communication, active listening, presentation practice & leadership skills), and participation in the broader YF XRP community events & activities. Rotations provide opportunities to support activities integral to the automotive launch process, including quoting new business, imperative support of manufacturing sites, actively supporting business units in cross-functional collaboration, and assessing, supporting, and encouraging improvements in the supply base and their capabilities. Core business rotations may include roles such as Buyer (Direct Material, Indirect Material, Tooling/CapEx), Plant Material Analyst, Supplier Development, and MBBP/CI. The position requires travel, including overnight travel. Requirements
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Management, Organizational Leadership, or related degree
- Effective communication skills within a team environment
- Customer focused, self-motivated, driven for results
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in use of a computer and common office software (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel, including overnight travel
