About The Position

This is an entry-level position as part of a development rotational program, targeted for recent graduates. Individuals will rotate through at least 2, up to 4 positions in different areas of Procurement. The Procurement XRP includes numerous training and development aspects such as mentorship, plant tours, individual development plans, networking opportunities, soft skill development, and engagement with other department XRPs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Management, Organizational Leadership, or related degree.
  • Effective communication skills within a team environment.
  • Customer focused, self-motivated, driven for results.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in use of a computer and common office software (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Intern or Co-Op work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support activities integral to the automotive launch process, including quoting new business.
  • Provide imperative support to manufacturing sites.
  • Actively support business units in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Assess, support, and encourage improvements in the supply base and their capabilities.
  • Rotate through at least 2, up to 4 positions in different areas of Procurement.
  • Work collaboratively with the XRP committee and mentor on goal setting and defining a career map.
  • Network and engage with employees from other functions as well as upper YF management.
  • Participate in soft skill development and training, such as communication, active listening, presentation practice, and leadership skills.
  • Participate in events and activities with other department XRPs.
