About The Position
A leading international law firm is seeking a Business Restructuring & Reorganization Staff Attorney to join its Atlanta office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in supporting sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring, distressed M&A, and Chapter 11 matters as part of a nationally recognized restructuring practice.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, or distressed transactions experience
- Experience supporting Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and distressed acquisitions
- Experience with bankruptcy court filings, disclosures, and related procedural matters
- Strong legal research, writing, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent academic credentials
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Active Georgia bar admission required

- Experience representing debtors, official committees, lenders, or other stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Supporting sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring, distressed M&A, and Chapter 11 matters.
- Supporting Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and distressed acquisitions.
- Representing debtors, official committees, lenders, or other stakeholders (preferred).
- Handling bankruptcy court filings, disclosures, and related procedural matters.
- Managing multiple deadlines and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
