About The Position

The Business Reporting Analyst designs, builds, and maintains operational and management reports for US depot operations. The role gathers, organizes, and documents requirements; performs system and data analysis; and develops reporting solutions based on business requirements. It also provides production reporting support and accommodates customer business needs while maintaining positive customer relationships through strong communication and coordination. The analyst must be able to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to non-technical stakeholders. The role provides technical guidance and mentoring in areas of expertise, develops subject matter expertise, and regularly produces internal and external customer and client reports. It uses data and report automation to improve the efficiency of profitability analysis, analyzes variances in key metrics, and identifies risks and opportunities. The analyst measures established KPIs and recommends actions to improve performance, collaborates with internal customers to improve or develop reporting, and proposes ways to improve reporting systems. This is a hybrid position reporting to the Lewisville, Texas or Mount Juliet, Tennessee facility two to three days per week. The stated pay range is $56,200 to $94,100.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience working as a reporting analyst with SQL and Excel in a professional environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field.
Advanced PC knowledge.
Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL, SSRS, Power BI, SSMS, and Oracle SQL Developer.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and statistical skills.
Professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor when working with teammates and business partners.
High degree of integrity and ability to exercise sound judgment.
Complex problem-solving skills.
Ability to deliver results on time.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and assignments.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of experience with visual tools such as Power BI or Tableau is desired.
Advanced Excel macros are a plus.
