About The Position

The Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst is a strategic partner to FP&A and business leaders, turning financial and operational data into clear insights, practical recommendations, and better business decisions. The role builds understanding of Enclave’s business, identifies performance drivers, defines trusted KPIs, improves reporting processes, and translates business questions into scalable analytics solutions. It works closely with IT and data resources, while focusing primarily on business analysis, decision support, reporting, solution validation, and user adoption rather than enterprise data engineering or platform administration. The position is full-time, exempt, and on-site in Fargo, North Dakota, or St. Louis Park, Minnesota. The analyst supports FP&A, finance, and operational decision-making; develops reporting solutions and trusted datasets; and creates and maintains Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytical tools for executive and operational audiences. The role also improves reporting usability, reliability, accessibility, and adoption through documentation, training, stakeholder feedback, and iterative enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least 3 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, operational analysis, business analysis, management reporting, business intelligence, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting processes, variance analysis, KPI development, and business performance measurement.
  • Experience developing Power BI semantic models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Fabric Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Data Factory, or similar cloud analytics platforms.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with FP&A, Finance, and business leaders to understand reporting, planning, forecasting, and operational decision needs.

  • Build an understanding of Enclave’s business models, financial statements, operating processes, systems, and performance drivers.
  • Translate business needs into requirements, process maps, report specifications, KPI definitions, business rules, acceptance criteria, and prioritized work items.
  • Present findings, risks, opportunities, and recommendations in clear language for leadership and operational audiences.
  • Prioritize reporting and analytics requests based on business value, urgency, effort, data readiness, and organizational priorities.
  • Develop reporting solutions and trusted datasets that make financial and operational information easier to access, understand, and analyze.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, operational reviews, and performance measurement with reliable data structures, recurring reports, and self-service capabilities.
  • Organize and present data so FP&A and business leaders can evaluate results, investigate drivers, and conduct their own analysis.
  • Develop and maintain executive scorecards, operational reports, KPI frameworks, and analytical tools based on business-defined measures and decision needs.
  • Use Excel, Power BI, and related tools to validate data, support reporting, improve accessibility, and reduce reliance on manual or disconnected processes.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytical tools for executive and operational audiences.
  • Establish consistent reporting definitions, calculations, measures, filters, assumptions, and business rules with process and metric owners.
  • Reduce manual reporting, consolidate duplicate reports, improve recurring reporting processes, and expand access to reliable information while maintaining appropriate controls.
