About The Position

The Vice President owns end-to-end Business Readiness outcomes for an assigned portfolio, from intake and impact assessment through implementation, adoption, hypercare, and transition to business as usual (BAU). Reporting to the Global Head of Business Readiness, the role leads three Associates as a pooled delivery team, sets a proportionate readiness approach, assures the quality of plans and supporting evidence, manages portfolio demand and capacity, and provides formal readiness recommendations. Communications, Procedures, and Training are delivered by partner teams that liaise with the central Business Readiness team. The Vice President is accountable for integrating partner deliverables into the overall Business Readiness plan, agreeing requirements and dependencies, and escalating gaps and delivery risks. The role oversees portfolio governance, quality assurance, stage-gate recommendations, risk escalation, remediation, adoption performance, cutover readiness, release support, hypercare, and BAU transition. It works with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to coordinate readiness activity, provide evidence-based recommendations, and improve the Business Readiness methodology and central service. The position is at JPMorganChase, whose Asset & Wealth Management business provides investment management and private banking solutions.

  • Build senior stakeholder, sponsor, and people-manager engagement plans; identify resistance, cumulative change impacts, and organizational constraints; and drive timely decisions and interventions.
  • Integrate Business Readiness activity with Business, Product, Technology, PMO, Operations, Risk, and Controls plans, release calendars, cutover plans, and BAU transition arrangements.
  • Agree requirements, milestones, dependencies, and evidence with Communications, Procedures, and Training partners; integrate their outputs into the overall plan and escalate delivery risks.
  • Oversee cutover readiness, release support, hypercare, and BAU transition across the portfolio, ensuring ownership, exit criteria, unresolved issues, and follow-up actions are clear.
  • Monitor portfolio readiness, adoption, operational performance, and stakeholder feedback against agreed baselines and targets; direct remediation when outcomes are off track.
  • Maintain the portfolio demand, capacity, dependency, risk, and escalation view; provide the Global Head of Business Readiness with recommendations on priorities, trade-offs, and resource constraints.
