About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer’s vision into solutions.

Requirements

  • Designing, implementing, and executing test plans that include unit, functional, regression, system and integration tests
  • Performing feasibility studies and processing design reviews
  • Warehouse Business Process Analysis
  • Configurating, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, including SAP warehouse management solutions
  • Deploying SAP applications using SAP Solution Manager or Cloud ALM
  • Supporting pre-sales activities, including gathering functional requirements, aligning with customer and sales teams, preparing and executing demonstrations of SAP warehouse management applications
  • Defining detailed function specifications for development requirements for SAP warehouse management applications, including radio frequency applications and warehouse management specific Business Add-Ins

Responsibilities

  • Maps business processes to solution requirements.
  • Helps position disruptive business innovation.
  • Supports the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise.
  • Drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives.
  • Supports end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud, and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards.
  • Participates in transition planning of customer solution landscapes.
  • Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries.
  • Supports pre-sales activities.
  • Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies.
  • Supports escalated projects.
  • Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-) project lead or team lead for a service delivery.
  • Supports line manager(s) in people development tasks.
  • Delivers customer workshops and trainings.
  • Supports in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success.
  • Introduces SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard context and experience.
  • Creates project documentation and documentation of delivered services.
  • Supports the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or supports updates to the portfolio.
  • Supports in solution testing and issue resolution.
  • Can mentor business process consultants.
