About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Experience must include five (5) years involving each of the following: Master Data Governance (MDG), Material Management, Finance and Custom Object
  • Data Quality Management (DQM), Master Data Consolidation and Mass Processing
  • ABAP, Object Oriented ABAP, MDG-Workflows and Business Rules Framework (BRF)
  • Development using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and Cloud Application Programming (CAP) on Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  • SQL, HANA, Core Data Services (CDS), Microsoft C#.Net and C++
  • Performance optimization utilizing ST12, ST05 and HANA Query Analyzer
  • Server Groupware Integration with CRM

Responsibilities

  • Maps business processes to solution requirements.
  • Champions and leads disruptive business innovation.
  • Provides thought leadership around the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise.
  • Drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives.
  • Supports end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards.
  • Plans transitions of customer solution landscapes.
  • Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs.
  • Supports pre-sales activities.
  • Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies.
  • Supports in escalated projects.
  • Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery.
  • Supports line manager(s) in people development tasks.
  • Delivers customer workshops and trainings.
  • Supports in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success.
  • Introduces SAP and industry leading practices for complex business requirements based on experience.
  • Drives the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or initiates updates to the portfolio.
  • Drives the creation of templates, common practices and supporting service delivery artifacts in order to optimize business processes.
  • Mentors business process consultants.
