About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions. The role involves mapping business processes to solution requirements, helping position disruptive business innovation, and supporting the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. The consultant will support solution design and configuration across multiple solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid) using state-of-the-art methodologies and standards, participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes, and drive the deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries. Additionally, the role includes supporting pre-sales activities, solution reviews, feasibility studies, and escalated or partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. The consultant will also deliver customer workshops, introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on templates, deliver solution training, and create project documentation. A comprehensive understanding of the relevant services portfolio is expected, with a focus on delivering according to specification and providing feedback for continuous improvement. Support in solution testing and issue resolution is also a key part of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in SAP ERP platform architecture, analysis, design, enhancement and implementation.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in defining secure ways to connect to customer systems, analyzing customer requirements to design and implement scalable SAP Solutions, and executing subsequent implementation of customized SAP solutions.
  • One (1) year of experience in Analytics and Data Visualization tools and concepts.
  • One (1) year of experience in Root cause analysis and delivering analytics development and support services in multi-tiered system environments.
  • One (1) year of experience in defining secure ways to connect front-end reporting tools to databases and executing subsequent development and implementation of analytics solutions.
