About The Position

Saliense is looking for a mid-level Business Process Reengineering Specialist to lead day-to-day workstreams within a rapid current-state operational assessment. This role involves planning and analyzing critical cross-cutting processes, diagnosing root causes of performance gaps, and developing actionable recommendations for process, procedure, and tool improvements. The Specialist will contribute to shaping the Operational Assessment Plan, lead stakeholder interviews and working sessions with senior client executives, guide culture benchmarking, and translate findings into recommendations for high-level process redesign and future-state operating models. Additionally, they will contribute to the Enterprise Organizational Health Assessment and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business process reengineering, operating model design, or management consulting.
  • At least 3 years supporting federal agencies preferred.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end current-state and future-state process analysis for complex, cross-organizational processes using standard methods (e.g., BPMN, value stream mapping, SIPOC, RACI).
  • Experience designing assessment plans and methodologies and running gap analyses and root-cause analyses that lead to prioritized, actionable recommendations.
  • Experience leading stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and facilitated working sessions with senior executives, including designing questionnaires and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative findings.
  • Hands-on experience with operating model design, organizational health or culture assessments, and benchmarking against peer public- and private-sector organizations.
  • Experience writing and briefing executive-level deliverables (assessment reports, recommendation briefs, process redesign packages) on accelerated timelines.
  • Guiding the work of junior team members.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Able to obtain and keep a DHS Fitness Determination (Public Trust).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
