About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Business Process Improvements (BPI) Specialist to join our growing team! Reporting to the Manager, Business Process Improvements, the BPI Advisor plays a critical role in identifying and driving process improvements, standardizing operations, and supporting business transformation across the enterprise. The successful candidate will help build a culture of continuous improvement while positioning the organization to leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions. This hybrid position is available in any of our BrokerLink Canadian offices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business improvement, operational excellence, process improvement, business transformation, project management, or related roles.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a complex business environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies with Green or Black Belt; Certifications are assets
  • Background in insurance, brokerage, financial services, or regulated industries an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and leading change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and demonstrated success influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with large or multi-function change management, workflow automation, or AI-enabled solutions will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Analyze workflows and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead process mapping, root cause analysis, and future-state design initiatives.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures, best practices, and CI methodologies.
  • Monitor operational performance using key metrics and dashboards.
  • Lead initiatives from ideation through implementation and performance monitoring.
  • Partner with business leaders to prioritize improvements aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate opportunities to leverage automation, workflow technologies, and AI-powered tools.
  • Conduct cost-benefit and impact analyses to validate and prioritize initiatives.
  • Engage and coach stakeholders at all levels through process changes and new ways of working.
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and improvement meetings.
  • Synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations and support communication of progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships and credibility across business units.
  • Establish project governance and reporting frameworks; track benefits realization.
  • Provide regular stakeholder updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the development of a Business Process Improvement Centre of Excellence.
