At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture. CHS has an exciting opportunity in the Finance group. We are looking for an entry-level Business Process and Data Analyst to support the credit and lending functions by providing system support and enhancements. This role works closely with CHS Capital, enterprise credit, IT and both internal and external customers. The primary focus of the position is to maintain loan origination and loan accounting systems, support process improvements, and ensure consistency in lending workflows. Qualified candidates to ideally reside in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN metro area to fulfill a hybrid work structure (3-days per week) located at our corporate office in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Remote options may be considered for top talent only.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge or experience in business, data, or systems-related roles to include:
  • Basic understanding of business process documentation or workflow concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers and Adobe tools

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
  • Exposure to credit, lending, or financial services environments (internship or coursework acceptable)
  • Familiarity with basic credit concepts
  • Familiarity with loan systems, ERP systems, or reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Participate in system enhancements or process change initiatives by assisting with testing, documentation, and validation.
  • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Clearly communicate with internal and external customers while providing solution-focused support to resolve system issues or errors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining agile to switch between tasks in a timely manner.
  • Help identify and resolve data discrepancies or issues with loan systems or reports, escalating as appropriate.
  • Follow established change management and documentation procedures.
  • Assist in developing training materials and job aids.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
