About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a Business Process Analyst to provide Agile project management, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, training, and stakeholder engagement services. This position reports directly to the Guidehouse project manager and provides in-person support to the client located in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves leading or being a member of a team that applies process improvement, reengineering, modernization, or transformation principles to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial and operations management. The analyst will assess process performance in complex environments, direct requirement collection efforts, support the design and implementation of business processes, and facilitate meetings to define goals and metrics. Ensuring proposed improvements align with strategic objectives and comply with regulations is also a key aspect of this role. The position requires developing realistic implementation plans, conducting organizational studies, and preparing procedural manuals. Familiarity with cost analysis, budget plans, and presenting to senior management is expected.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • THREE (3) or more years of experience in Business Analysis activities

  • Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
  • Active CBP BI or reciprocity strongly preferred.
  • NINE (9) or more years of professional experience
  • Strong preference for Federal experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability for oral and written communication with senior levels of management and the Customer

Responsibilities

  • Provide Agile project management, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, training, and stakeholder engagement services.
  • Lead or be a member of a team of analysts that apply process improvement, reengineering, modernization, or transformation principles, approaches, and methodologies that lead to increased efficiency or effectiveness in financial and operations management.
  • Assess process performance in complex environments, involving linkages between financial, staffing, and other support processes, and operational processes and outcomes.
  • Direct requirement collection and refinement efforts, to include interviews, surveys, working sessions and focus group studies.
  • Provide support for the design and implementation of new or enhancements to business processes.
  • Support coordination between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  • Facilitate meetings to assist management in the development of clear statements of quantifiable goals, objectives, requirements, and metrics.
  • Ensure proposed process improvements align to strategic objectives, and initiatives are compliant with appropriate policies, rules and regulations.
  • Develop realistic and practical implementation plans.
  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations; conduct work simplification and measurement studies; and prepare operations, training, and procedural manuals to assist management in implementing ways to operate more efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and interpret cost analysis, budget plans, and develop and present briefings to senior management.
