About The Position

The Business Planning Manager leads enterprise-wide financial planning, strategic initiatives, and executive decision support across the organization. This role partners directly with executive leadership and Korea Headquarters to drive business performance, corporate strategy, and long-term growth. The successful candidate is expected to independently lead cross-functional initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, develop executive-level business cases, and deliver high-quality strategic reports and presentations for C-suite decision-making. Strong experience preparing executive-level strategy reports and presentation materials (Word, PowerPoint, Executive Decks) for CEOs, CFOs, and senior leadership is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
  • 7–10+ years of FP&A, finance, consulting, corporate planning experience, or strategic planning experience
  • Extensive experience preparing executive-level strategy reports, business proposals, and presentation materials (PowerPoint, Word, Executive Decks) for CEOs, CFOs, or executive leadership.
  • Experience leading corporate planning, FP&A, strategy consulting, or business planning initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and Korea Headquarters.
  • Experience supporting CEO Staff Meetings, Executive Committee Meetings, Board Meetings, or corporate strategy reviews.
  • Experience developing executive presentations that influence business decisions and investment priorities.
  • Proven experience preparing high-quality executive strategy reports and presentation materials (PowerPoint, Word, Executive Decks) for C-suite executives, with the ability to translate complex business issues into concise and compelling recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning
  • Own monthly close analysis and deliver variance insights with clear business drivers
  • Build and maintain financial models for revenue, cost, and profitability scenarios
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, KPIs, and standardized reporting frameworks
  • Partner with department leaders to translate operational initiatives into financial impact
  • Identify risks/opportunities and recommend corrective actions
  • Independently manage multiple concurrent projects under tight timelines
  • Handle both recurring reporting and frequent ad-hoc, ambiguous business questions
  • Drive process automation and continuous improvements to report efficiency and data quality
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and decision support materials
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and review of junior analysts’ work
  • Lead enterprise-wide strategic planning and special projects sponsored by executive leadership.
  • Develop executive business cases and strategic recommendations for CEO, CFO, and senior leadership.
  • Prepare high-quality executive presentations, board materials, and strategy reports (PowerPoint, Word, Executive Decks) for C-suite meetings.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into concise executive narratives and strategic insights.
  • Serve as the primary finance point of contact between U.S. operations and Korea headquarters for assigned areas.
  • Directly communicate business performance, financial results, and key variances to key HQ leaders
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level financial reports, forecasts, and strategic analyses to HQ
  • Align financial assumptions, targets, and planning direction with global/HQ guidelines
  • Lead ad-hoc analyses and reporting requests from headquarters with ownership and accountability
  • Translate local operational performance into clear financial narratives for HQ management
