The role connects financial results with operational performance, helping leaders understand business outcomes and identify actions to improve them. Its scope includes financial planning and analysis, operational analytics, manufacturing performance, project profitability, cost management, and corporate reporting. The role leads budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; analyzes financial and operational KPIs; develops models, dashboards, and management reports; and supports profitability, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives. It also contributes to corporate reporting, ERP and reporting system improvements, month-end close, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and audit and compliance activities. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
5–8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, operational finance, business analytics, corporate finance, manufacturing finance, or business consulting.
Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineered products, project-based, service, or B2B environments.
Demonstrated ability to connect operational performance metrics with financial results.
Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
Advanced analytical and modeling skills, including the ability to turn large volumes of data into actionable insights.
Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting tools.
Strong business acumen and curiosity about how operations drive financial performance.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and business intelligence or reporting systems.
Proactive, hands-on approach and comfort working in a lean, fast-paced environment.

Experience with Power BI, OneStream, SQL, or advanced analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Act as a strategic finance partner to Operations, Sales, Procurement, and Leadership teams.
Provide financial and operational insights to support data-driven decisions.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Translate operational activities and KPIs into financial impacts and performance drivers.
Build financial models and scenario analyses for strategic and operational decisions.
Develop business cases for investments, capital expenditures, productivity initiatives, and commercial opportunities.
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and corporate stakeholders.
Support monthly business reviews and performance discussions.
Analyze operational performance using KPIs such as productivity, labor utilization, capacity utilization, equipment downtime and efficiency, manufacturing throughput, inventory performance, on-time delivery, project and service profitability, and working capital.
Identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across the business.
Create and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, and management reporting tools.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve profitability, productivity, and operational effectiveness.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance measurement.
Provide objective, fact-based recommendations and challenge assumptions.
Improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and analytics processes.
Analyze P&L performance, revenue, margins, expenses, and profitability drivers.
Evaluate product, customer, project, and service-line profitability.
Support pricing analysis and margin improvement initiatives.
Prepare monthly financial performance reviews and executive presentations.
Develop rolling forecasts and financial projections.
Monitor cash flow and working capital performance.
Support corporate reporting requirements, strategic initiatives, and global finance transformation projects.
Support ERP (Infor LN) and reporting system enhancements; standardize and automate reporting where possible.
Improve reporting processes, controls, and data governance; partner with regional and global finance teams on consistency and best practices.
Support audit and compliance activities while maintaining practical and efficient controls.
Support month-end close, including selected journal entries and account analysis, and collaborate with accounting on accurate financial reporting.
Perform cost accounting analysis and monitor manufacturing cost performance.
Analyze production costs, efficiency trends, labor variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
Support inventory valuation and manufacturing performance reporting.
