This position provides analytical support to Dominion Energy South Carolina's (DESC's) Electric Transmission Department and other organizational units to include data management, analysis and reporting, and the electronic maintenance of critical backup files. This position will assist with the administration of DESC's obligations under the FERC Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT), particularly the Generator Interconnection procedures, and the South Carolina Generator Interconnection Procedure (SCGIP). These duties include interacting with interconnection customers, processing interconnection requests, internal and external reporting, processing payments made to DESC under the OATT and SCGIP and performing complex reconciliation of customer accounts. Additionally, this position will prepare, analyze, and present financial case studies for a business process, define and develop performance metrics, analyze and recommend data collection process improvements, and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics. It will also identify and implement better work and business processes, develop cost/allocation, cost/benefit programs and models to support the development of business strategies, develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies, and perform varied analyses of an economic, business, and engineering nature.
