About The Position

Texas Health Resources is hiring a Business Performance Analyst II for its Business Performance Analytics Department in Arlington, Texas. This full-time, onsite role works weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. The department is described as innovative, collaborative, fast-paced, supportive, transparent, inclusive, and focused on learning and advancement, with an emphasis on work-from-home life balance. The analyst extracts and combines data from multiple sources, develops and maintains complex analytical models, and supports dashboard development and reporting. The role produces data-based insights and recommendations to address business questions, presents findings to work groups and leadership using data visualization, and builds relationships with partners and customers to develop effective solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
Five years of related analytical experience in Healthcare, Consulting, Finance, Analytics, or a closely related field with a bachelor’s degree; alternatively, three years of related analytical experience with a master’s degree.
Working knowledge of data visualization tools and experience creating data visualizations.

Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, SQL, or non-SQL tools to query and join tables and create tables.

Responsibilities

Extract, manipulate, and join data from multiple sources into a population set for comparative analysis.
Develop and maintain complex analytical models to determine the financial, clinical, and consumer value of a wide range of business initiatives.
Manage the dashboard development process, including creating data definitions, validating and retrieving data, maintaining technical documentation, and creating dashboards.
Manage and produce ad hoc reports, recurring reports, and presentations that provide data-based insights for business questions.
Present findings to work groups and leadership using data visualization tools to tell a story through data and examples.
Develop relationships with partners and customers and manage those relationships to support effective solutions.
Translate business questions or problems into analytical questions and deliver actionable reports and recommendations to business owners.
