Business Operations & Vendor Strategy Lead – Streaming Platforms - 1621
About The Position
This role focuses on managing the operational governance of platform vendors and partner relationships within the streaming industry. The lead will be responsible for tracking financial aspects like spend, invoices, forecasts, and budget alignment, as well as identifying operational risks and cost optimization opportunities. The position requires close coordination with various internal teams such as Finance, Legal, Tax, Procurement, and Product, and involves overseeing commercial agreements, onboarding processes, and ensuring operational compliance. A key aspect of the role is to build and improve scalable business processes, support revenue share workflows, and present operational and financial insights to leadership. The role also involves managing ongoing reporting and tracking across vendor, partner, and platform ecosystems, and supporting the launch and operation of new streaming platform initiatives.
Requirements
- Vendor management and commercial operations
- Budget tracking, invoice management, accruals, and expense forecasting
- Financial reporting and variance analysis
- Partner operations and contract compliance
- Excel and financial tracking/reporting
- Cross-functional coordination with Finance, Legal, Tax, Procurement, and Product teams
- Streaming, DTC, AVOD, FAST, SVOD, or digital media platform experience
- Process improvement and operational governance
- Stakeholder communication and executive reporting
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience within streaming, digital media, entertainment, gaming, music, or DTC platforms
- Strong operational and financial literacy with ability to manage spend tracking and reporting
- Experience managing external vendor and partner relationships
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced startup-like environments
- Proven ability to improve workflows and operational processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter capable of operating with minimal oversight

Responsibilities
- Manage operational governance across platform vendors and partner relationships
- Track monthly spend, invoices, forecasts, and budget alignment across multiple vendors
- Identify operational risks, cost optimization opportunities, and vendor performance gaps
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Procurement, Tax, and Product teams on approvals and workflows
- Oversee commercial agreements, onboarding processes, and operational compliance
- Build and improve scalable business processes across platform operations
