About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Business Operations Manager (Level K) to join our Supply Chain Business Operations Rate Studies and Rate Readiness team in Everett, Washington. BCA Supply Chain Business Operations is a fast paced, dynamic organization that requires a larger look at the total BCA business as we support all commercial airplanes programs. This position manages a team of Business Operations specialists who partner with Supply Chain procurement categories to drive rate readiness activities and execute production rate studies supporting all BCA airplane programs. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. A strong candidate will have knowledge in our BCA production systems and processes, excellent written and verbal communication, analytical skills, the ability to work in a face paced environment, resilience and to work with executive leadership. Supply Chain knowledge is preferable but not required. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Ensures work statement compliance. Ensures consistent management system processes and tools are used. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Requirements

  • This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management
  • 5+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Supply Chain knowledge is preferable but not required.
