About The Position

Paraform is hiring a high-agency Business Operations Lead with strong data and process rigor. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role at the center of our marketplace. You’ll work directly with leadership to analyze performance, run our operating cadence, and build the systems that keep the business running at scale. This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves solving problems, and can toggle between deep analysis and hands-on execution. You should be equally comfortable writing SQL, running a business review, and building playbooks that teams actually use. About Paraform: Paraform is a marketplace modernizing one of the largest and most fragmented markets in the world: hiring. We partner with industry leaders like Cursor, Palantir, Windsurf, Decagon, Shopify, Coinbase, and Hightouch to hire world-class talent, and are growing quickly - 8×-ing revenue last year. Paraform is the first end-to-end AI recruiting marketplace that connects companies with thousands of specialized recruiters and AI agents that work together to fill roles faster and more accurately. Our mission is to make hiring fast, reliable, and scalable for every company in the world. At Paraform, we believe recruiting works best when the right people are working on the right problems, combining human judgment with AI that truly understands hiring. That’s why we’re building a new foundation for how companies hire, bringing together specialized recruiters and modern AI tools. We treat recruiters like entrepreneurs, not vendors – and we’re building the financial, operational, and technical infrastructure that powers their success. We are backed by the best investors and technology leaders: Felicis, A, BOND, Liquid 2, DST Global, the founders of YouTube, Instacart, Canva, and more.

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of experience in consulting, finance, BizOps, or an early-stage startup
  • Exceptional data skills — strong SQL fundamentals and comfort working with messy, real-world data
  • Strong analytical thinking: able to go from ambiguous question → structured analysis → clear recommendation
  • Has experience in a startup or fast-paced environment; understands what it means to wear multiple hats.
  • Graduated from a top-tier university with a strong academic record.
  • Is low ego, open-minded, intellectually curious, and enjoys asking good questions.

Responsibilities

  • Own Marketplace Analytics
  • Use SQL and internal tools to answer core business questions (e.g., funnel conversion, supply-demand imbalances, cohort performance)
  • Identify root causes of marketplace inefficiencies and propose clear, actionable solutions
  • Partner with product and data teams to improve data quality and instrumentation
  • Maintain the Operating System (business reviews / SOPs)
  • Manage the weekly business and functional reviews: metrics, narratives, and follow-ups
  • Maintain and evolve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across teams (SPL, Sales, Supply, Partnerships, etc.)
  • Ensure teams are operating against clear inputs, outputs, and controllable levers
  • Process Design & Enforcement
  • Build and enforce processes for critical functions (e.g., Trust & Safety, role qualification, churn controls)
  • Create scalable systems—not one-off fixes—that improve consistency and execution quality
  • Identify where process is breaking and close gaps quickly
  • Cross-Functional Execution
  • Coordinate with Legal on contracts and compliance (e.g., ensuring proper redlines and approvals in sales workflows)
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Ops to unblock issues and drive key initiatives forward
  • Act as a connective layer across teams to ensure alignment and speed
  • AI-Native Operations
  • Leverage modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, GPT, internal tooling) to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, and improve decision-making
  • Continuously identify opportunities to replace manual work with AI-driven systems
