About The Position

International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking a Business Operations Intern to join the 2027 Spring Internship class. The Global Business Operations Team supports IJM’s Global Operations Council by driving optimal operational solutions to scale IJM’s impact. The team facilitates collaboration, alignment, improvement, and integration across Finance, HR, Legal, and Technology. The intern will support project and portfolio management, change management, and business process improvement. This includes assisting with project deliverables, scheduling, researching industry best practices, and designing/editing communication materials. This position can be fully in-person or hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) in the Washington, DC area, or remote for non-local candidates. It reports to the Global Director, Business Operations and requires 30-40 hours per week, primarily during standard business hours (8:30 am - 5:30 pm EST). Interns receive a monthly stipend to help defray expenses, which is not an hourly wage.

Requirements

  • Completed at least two years of undergraduate study by the start of the internship.
  • At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience in extracurricular, campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations.
  • Ability to commit to a schedule consistent with the required time commitment (20, 30, or 40 hours per week during standard business hours).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in project management or process implementation.
  • Mature orthodox Christian faith.
