About The Position

The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business. The Business Operations Analyst has a pivotal role in increasing the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the Planning Organization by employing analytical methodologies to identify patterns, trends, and outliers in data that will guide informed decision-making and improve business strategies. You will be responsible for optimizing planning metrics in order to improve forecasting accuracy for supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics to enhance efficiency and output.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field with 8 years of related experience; master’s degree with 6 years of experience; or PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience influencing stakeholders.
Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, global environment.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and other analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Lead the collection, processing, analyzing, and interpreting of data to help provide strategic leadership and positively influence effective business strategies.
Responsible for driving effective operational scorecard reviews (L3) with functional Operation Analysts.
Responsible for generating and representing operational scorecards in executive operational reviews (L2).
PMO Lead – lead Systems Planning AOP and executive-sponsored programs.
Functional lead for 8Ds.
Establish and sustain BKMs for analytic standards and compliance.
Develop the Operations Analyst team into next-generation leaders.
