Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Business or Finance, or 1-5 years of relevant analyst experience.
  • Solid analytical and data tracking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
  • Initiative and drive to deliver measurable business results.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience with SAP, STORMS, PowerPlan, or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of utility industry operations and financial accounting.
  • Forward-thinking with a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and generate reports to track key goals such as Safety Targets and Contractor Hours Worked, communicating insights to internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage and process invoices for materials, contractors, and services (EZ-Passes, vehicle rentals, cell phones) to support electric operations.
  • Develop and maintain Emergency Storm Accounting, ensuring clear communication and accurate reconciliation of storm-related invoices.
  • Support emergency storm response efforts and participate in ad hoc projects to drive operational improvements.
  • Create shopping carts, purchase orders, and confirmations for procurement of goods and services; handle PO modifications as needed.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective data-driven decision making.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within work order portfolios to proactively improve business outcomes.
  • Challenge and enhance existing workflows to increase efficiency across the department.
