Requirements

  • High School or GED (Required)
  • Typing of 40 wpm

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in the service industry with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service or 1-2 years previous experience in a Medical Office setting or 1-2 years previous experience in a Call Center or 1-2 years previous experience in Collections

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones to schedule patients for injuries, drug tests, follow-up services.
  • Correcting HHCFA, making sure all info. is correct, then prepare for mailing numerous invoices and confirm codes through the BWC.
  • Data entry on screening invoices and rehab invoices. Print and mail invoices.
  • Enter injury charges from clinic on a daily basis; review of fee schedules for accuracy; contact clinics for clarification of billing to ensure accuracy. Print daily reconciliation report.
  • Locate invoice in computer and post dollar amount of checks daily. Bring any questions to Office Manager. Verify accuracy of entries by printing daily journal report. Endorse checks, prepare deposit slip.
  • Retrieve bank deposits daily, retrieve charged from clinics daily.
