About The Position

We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to join our senior living community. In this role, you’ll provide essential office and clerical support to ensure smooth daily operations. You’ll work closely with the Community Director, assist staff and residents, and help maintain a welcoming, organized environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
  • Experience in office administration or customer service, preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with technology.
  • Must obtain and maintain a chauffeur’s license within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in office administration or customer service, preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle administrative tasks including filing, auditing employee files, and preparing payroll and accounts payable for approval.
  • Assist with job postings, new-hire paperwork, and onboarding documentation.
  • Greet visitors, answer phones, route calls, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support resident move-ins, orientations, and occasional tours or inquiries.
  • Help distribute monthly newsletters, calendars, menus, and community communications.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and manage mail distribution.
  • Record meeting minutes and process maintenance/housekeeping work orders.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties as requested by the Community Director.
