About The Position

Responsible for maintaining patient spending accounts, completing admission and discharge set ups, maintaining files for audits and Medicaid/Social Security packets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent Required.
  • Knowledge of medical billing/collections experience Required.
  • Excel Spreadsheet Usage and Creation Required
  • Math and Bookkeeping and basic accounting knowledge required.
  • Banking or Cash handling experience Required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong customer service.
  • Receive and enter all deposits to patient spending accounts.
  • Record all purchase transactions for patient spending accounts.
  • Maintain patient files.
  • Reconcile Patient Trust and Bank Accounts
  • Generate Admit documents and process Admits in Medhost.
  • Process discharges in Medhost.
  • Work with Medicaid and Social Security on applications and renewal packets.
  • Work With Patient Trust Auditors
  • Census report generation and compilation.
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
