A nationally recognized Am Law 50 firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys handling sophisticated commercial disputes and working closely with clients on high-stakes litigation matters. The practice represents businesses across a wide range of industries in complex litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Minnesota bar admission or ability to become admitted in Minnesota
- Approximately 3-6 years of business or commercial litigation experience
- Experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, and legal research
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Excellent academic credentials
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in complex business and commercial litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents
- Manage discovery, including written discovery, document review, and depositions
- Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
- Develop case strategy and work directly with clients
- Collaborate with attorneys across a nationally recognized litigation platform
