About The Position

A premier national law firm is seeking Litigation Associates to join its growing Seattle office. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys interested in handling sophisticated commercial litigation, product liability, class actions, multidistrict litigation, antitrust matters, government investigations, environmental litigation, and appellate advocacy alongside nationally recognized trial and appellate lawyers.

Requirements

2–6 years of litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm or through a federal or state judicial clerkship
Experience handling complex commercial litigation, including breach of contract, business torts, fiduciary duty disputes, shareholder litigation, fraud, and other high-stakes business disputes
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Washington bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nice To Haves

Experience with class actions, multidistrict litigation (MDLs), product liability litigation, antitrust litigation, environmental litigation, or government investigations is a plus
Judicial clerkship experience is highly valued
Excellent academic credentials

Responsibilities

Handling sophisticated commercial litigation, product liability, class actions, multidistrict litigation, antitrust matters, government investigations, environmental litigation, and appellate advocacy.
Drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, depositions, hearings, trial preparation, and appeals.
Managing all phases of litigation.
Independent management of sophisticated litigation matters while maintaining significant client interaction.
