About The Position

This role helps design, build, and support analytics data solutions used for reporting and business decision-making. It combines hands-on data engineering, data modeling, SQL development, and collaboration with analysts and business teams. The position also helps ensure data is accurate, reliable, and easy to use. The role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a hybrid schedule of two days in the office and three days virtual. Current and future OPT sponsorship are not available.

Requirements

Strong SQL skills and confidence working with complex queries.
Experience with dbt and Airflow in analytics or data engineering workflows.
Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, EC2, and Redshift.
Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data quality practices.
Ability to work well with technical and non-technical teams.
Clear communication, problem-solving ability, and a practical mindset.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in Agile teams using tools such as Jira.
Familiarity with GitHub and software development lifecycle practices.
Experience supporting BI platforms in enterprise environments.
Exposure to financial services or regulated data environments.
Ability to create insights and recommendations from business data.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain data pipelines using dbt, Airflow, and AWS services.
Create scalable data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
Write, test, and tune SQL for transformation, reporting, and analysis.
Work with analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Cognos or Tableau.
Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production problems.
