About The Position

Wilmington Health is seeking a Business Intelligence/SQL Analyst to support data-driven decision making across the organization. This position requires proficiency in business intelligence and data tools to extract, transform, and analyze healthcare data. The Analyst is responsible for developing reports, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Proficient in SQL coding, including the creation of stored procedures.
  • Experience with SSIS for data loading and processing.
  • Experience developing business intelligence reports; Power BI preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or health insurance data preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years experience in SQL, SSIS, and Power BI

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large data sets to determine appropriate logic to incorporate into existing processes to discover trends, relationships, and produce actionable insights to inform strategy, improve quality, and identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Create SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load large data sets.
  • Develop efficient SQL procedures to support reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance business intelligence reports, using Power BI, to visualize trends, KPIs, and operational metrics.
  • Create and maintain documentation of all processes.
  • Present thoughtful analytical summaries and findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with meetings, presentations, and communications regarding data projects and insights.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses of healthcare and/or business operational data.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all data governance and compliance standards.
  • Appear for work on time and attend meetings as required.
  • Communicate professionally and appropriately with patients, physicians, coworkers, and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties specified by manager.
