Business Intelligence Analyst
About The Position
The Business Intelligence Analyst supports data-informed decision-making across React Health by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting business operations data and producing actionable insights. The role combines analytical work with development responsibilities, including designing and maintaining data infrastructure, pipelines, and business intelligence solutions that support reporting and analytics at scale. The analyst develops and maintains dashboards and reports for functions such as sales, finance, and operations, and collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data insights and visualization solutions. The position is based in Dublin, Ohio, in a hybrid work environment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in the same or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with business intelligence or data analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
- Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience building or maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Medical or health industry experience.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Working proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, automation, and analysis, using tools such as pandas, numpy, or equivalent libraries.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business performance data, including revenue generation, customer behavior, market trends, and operational performance.
- Assess the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Analyze business growth and customer retention metrics to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.
- Investigate root causes of business challenges and contribute actionable solutions.
- Develop dashboards and data visualizations to present business metrics and insights.
- Create interactive visualizations that help stakeholders explore data and inform decisions.
- Support the design and maintenance of dashboards and reports that monitor performance across sales, finance, and operations.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to extract, transform, and prepare data from multiple source systems.
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for reliable, timely, and accurate data delivery to the data warehouse or reporting layer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data insights and visualization solutions.
- Document methodologies, data sources, and findings to build a business intelligence knowledge base.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to improve stakeholder understanding of data and foster a data-driven culture.
- Attend departmental meetings, seminars, training, and continuing education as required; maintain professional competence and comply with department guidelines.
- Provide customer-focused interactions and perform duties in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties delegated by the supervisor within the scope of the role.
