The Business Intelligence Analyst III / IV designs, develops, and supports enterprise business intelligence and visual analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. The role transforms complex data into reports, dashboards, semantic models, and analytical solutions that support operational and strategic business outcomes. It partners with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data engineering partners to deliver scalable visual reporting, establish semantic modeling standards, and translate analyses into clear recommendations. Microsoft Power BI is the primary BI platform, with Apache Superset or other visualization tools used when more appropriate to the business need. As part of an agile team, the role contributes to solution design, development, testing, deployment, optimization, production support, report certification, and modernization of enterprise reporting assets. Its focus is BI and visual analytics rather than primary ownership of source-data engineering or Power BI tenant administration. At Level III, the analyst independently designs end-to-end BI solutions, applies advanced analytical and statistical techniques, leads solution components, frames questions with stakeholders, and provides technical guidance to peers. At Level IV, the analyst leads complex and reusable BI solutions and cross-functional initiatives, establishes standards, reviews technical designs, influences architecture and tooling decisions, and mentors analysts and developers across levels.
