About The Position

Cin7 is seeking a Business Intelligence & AI Analyst to own Power BI dashboards and datasets end to end. The role traces data from source systems through Azure Data Factory into Fabric and Power BI, builds the semantic models and DAX measures behind self-service reporting, and ensures that reporting used by leadership is accurate. The work primarily involves building and maintaining BI assets, with ad hoc analysis as a secondary focus. It also requires practical judgment about where AI and automation can improve reporting workflows and independent validation of AI-generated work. The analyst will partner with stakeholders across departments, document reporting logic, diagnose data-flow issues, and resolve data-quality problems. Over time, the role may grow into Cin7's Customer Operations systems, including ChurnZero, Salesforce, and ZenDesk; training is available as needed. Baseline ChurnZero configuration is expected of Customer Operations team members, although it is not an immediate priority for this role. Cin7 is a global inventory management software company serving more than 8,000 customers. The position offers remote-work flexibility and an annual base compensation range of $85,000 to $100,000. Cin7 may use AI tools to support parts of the hiring process, while final hiring decisions are made by humans.

  • Working knowledge of SQL for reading and validating data and understanding joins, keys, and data grain.
  • Ability to explain what data means and where it comes from, not only how to reproduce a report.
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI tools into daily BI workflows, validate their outputs independently, and assess their practical strengths and limitations.
