About The Position

As a member of the Business Intelligence team, the Business Intelligence Analyst builds dashboards, reports, and solutions that communicate relevant data and metrics to clients and help identify organizational needs through collecting and monitoring data points. The role covers all stages of BI project work, from requirements and design through implementation, testing, and deployment. The analyst collaborates with IT and department managers, supports data-driven decisions, and creates training curriculum for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance business intelligence dashboards, reports, and analytic solutions across requirements and logical design, physical design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure appropriate data sources are available for reporting needs.
• Participate in the implementation of new projects.
• Extract, analyze, and manipulate data from varied sources, including data warehouses and data lakehouses.
• Interpret data and analyze results using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques to derive business insights and identify patterns.
• Optimize data strategy to support data-driven decisions; maintain data accuracy and identify improvement opportunities for reports, metrics, and workflows.
• Work with department managers to create recurring dashboards, reports, and other BI solutions for internal and external clients.
• Analyze business requirements and processes and recommend changes to management and executives for implementation.
• Create curriculum to train internal and external clients in the use of business intelligence tools and improve business decision-making capability.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, meet deadlines, and shift priorities with flexibility and professionalism.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data models and report definitions.
• Perform other related essential duties as assigned or requested.
