About The Position

Concorde Education is expanding its network of instructors for independent-contractor assignments delivering business, entrepreneurship, finance, and financial-literacy enrichment to elementary, middle, and high school students. Instruction takes place in person at partner schools and community-based locations. Assignments are part-time, typically involve 1–4 instructional hours per week, and generally run approximately 8–10 weeks. Opportunities and start dates vary throughout the school year according to partner needs, instructor qualifications, location, and availability; assignments are not guaranteed. Depending on the assignment, programs may cover personal budgeting, saving, banking, credit and debt, interest, investing, entrepreneurship, business planning, revenue and expenses, pricing, marketing, customer service, leadership, career exploration, and practical financial decision-making. Curriculum, topics, grade levels, objectives, and compensation vary by assignment. Most assignments fall between $50 and $65 per instructional hour, with the applicable range provided for each opportunity. Instructors deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities, explain concepts through real-world examples, adapt instruction to student needs, and maintain an inclusive, respectful, appropriately supervised learning environment. They prepare using provided curriculum, approved lesson plans, or suitable instructor-developed activities; follow school and program procedures; and communicate professionally with school personnel and Concorde Education representatives. Traditional classroom teaching experience is not required for every program. Assignment offers may depend on program availability, qualifications, scheduling, school-partner requirements or approval, and completion of legally required screening or clearance processes. Applying or completing onboarding does not guarantee an assignment, minimum hours, future work, or continued engagement. Concorde Education provides equal opportunity in contractor selection and complies with applicable fair-chance requirements.
