About The Position

Baker Hughes is seeking a business development professional to support its Power Generation team and contribute to the commercial agenda of its business segments. The role combines executive support and administrative coordination with active involvement in client relationship management, business development, pipeline development and tracking, and preparation of commercial offerings. It serves as a bridge between executive leadership and commercial teams, both within Baker Hughes and externally. The successful candidate will help develop strategies to create markets for Baker Hughes power generation capabilities, conceptualize power project solutions for utilities and industrial customers, and support the screening, qualification, and pursuit of project opportunities. The role may include advancing selected projects with EPC contractors, operators, energy traders, fuel suppliers, financial partners, and other stakeholders; preparing proposals and contractual documentation; and coordinating workstreams and resources through project milestones. The position also requires understanding technology applications, project economics, commercial considerations, regional requirements, and Baker Hughes’ value proposition. The role provides high-level support to senior executives, including preparing plans, correspondence, reports, and briefing materials; coordinating travel and expenses; and supporting confidential work. Additional duties include coordinating country-level internal communications and employee engagement activities, and planning shows, demonstrations, and visits at the country’s Training and Technology Center. It offers a pathway from product-line work toward broader business and commercial responsibilities, with exposure to strategic projects, senior leadership, and client-facing activities.
