About The Position

Blossman Gas, America's largest independent propane company with over 85 retail locations, is seeking a Business Development Sales Specialist for its showroom in Mobile, AL, and a new showroom in Pensacola, FL. This role combines inside sales from a showroom environment with outside sales potential, targeting contractors, homebuilders, and commercial clients. Requirements

High school diploma.
Pass pre-employment checks including background and drug screening.
Professional, friendly, organized, and conditioned for relationship (trust) selling.
Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Excel).
Solid communication skills.
Positive attitude, openness to progress, utilization of technology, and growth-oriented expectations.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor's degree in business or other related field.
2-5 years of prior success with inside sales.
Some experience with outside sales.

Responsibilities

Communicate company offerings and services enthusiastically from the showroom and by telephone.
Work with builders and homeowners for new construction and renovation needs relating to gas fireplace systems, outdoor kitchens, gas appliances, grills, and more, aiming for a good closing rate.
Conduct on-site, Outside Sales-related duties when approaching new opportunities for residential propane in the greater Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL areas.
Stay up-to-date on preferred brands, financing, preventative maintenance, and promotional offerings.
Prospect commercial gas opportunities including restaurants, forklift warehouses, manufacturing, laundromats, and more.
Maintain showroom cleanliness and standards.
Perform computer-based tasks to support daily workflow and customer-care efforts.
Regularly follow up with customers via telephone, email, and text.
Occasionally help customers load new equipment.
