About The Position

BlueTuskr is hiring a Business Development Representative to drive new business for our e-commerce marketing agency. This is a remote sales role for a hunter with experience selling marketing services or SaaS to e-commerce, DTC, or Amazon brands. The role offers a $75K base + uncapped commission, with a year 1 OTE of $150K-$175K and a clear path to building and leading a sales team. BlueTuskr is a full-service e-commerce marketing agency, a winner of Amazon's 2025 Agency of the Year, helping DTC and Amazon brands grow through paid ads, email/SMS, and SEO. We are certified partners with major platforms and have deep case studies, with a growing specialization in the industrial and parts category. We are a collaborative, opinionated, and analytical team that moves fast, is honest with clients, and takes our craft seriously. This is a hunter sales role focused on new business development, where the hired individual will find and close their own business, and then build a sales team underneath them. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role comes with a playbook, tech stack (HubSpot, Smartlead, Dripify, LinkedIn outreach), case studies, AI-powered audit tools, gated content, and partner certifications. While inbound leads are provided at a lower commission rate, the expectation is that the majority of the pipeline will come from the representative's own hunting efforts. After closing a client, an Account Strategist takes over the day-to-day, with the representative staying involved at a high level through check-ins and serving as a strategic touchpoint and escalation contact, earning commission on the account for the life of the relationship and additional commission on upsells. The role offers a growth path to build a team of 3+ within 18 months, shaping processes, hiring, and growing into running the department with an override on team production.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in B2B sales of marketing services, SaaS, or related software.
  • Direct experience selling to e-commerce, DTC, or Amazon brands strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of hunting and closing new business - not just managing pipeline someone else built
  • Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM, plus outbound platforms like Smartlead, Apollo, or Outreach
  • Strong written and verbal communication - you can write a cold email that gets opened and run a discovery call that converts
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and trade shows (we cover it)

Nice To Haves

  • Agency sales experience is also a strong plus.
  • Bonus points if you have a network in the industrial or parts e-commerce space - that's a vertical we're leaning into.
  • Bonus: existing contacts in industrial or parts e-commerce, or prior agency sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Build and run outbound prospecting across cold email, cold calling, LinkedIn, direct mail, conferences, and trade shows
  • Close inbound leads that come through our marketing channels (newsletter, podcast, content, referrals)
  • Manage your pipeline in HubSpot and report honestly on what's working and what isn't
  • Refine our sales playbook based on what you learn in market
  • Own ongoing client check-ins (monthly for onboarding, quarterly after) and surface upsell opportunities
  • Help build the sales department - hiring, coaching, and processes
