About The Position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities by engaging prospective clients and scheduling meetings for our sales team. This is a high-activity, outbound role focused on building pipeline and creating new client relationships. This role requires a polished communicator who can confidently engage C-level executives and clearly articulate PRP’s value proposition in a concise, professional, and compelling manner.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years’ experience in a professional or office environment (internships or entry-level roles considered)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with executive presence, including confidence, poise, and professionalism when engaging with C-level stakeholders
  • Strong phone presence and consultative selling skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and build rapport in an initial conversation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to succeed in a high-activity environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 2-4 years’ experience with outbound prospecting or cold calling
  • Prior sales, customer-facing, or lead generation experience
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or sales engagement platforms

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels)
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and secure face-to-face meetings with C-Level stakeholders for our National Account Managers.
  • Clearly articulate our value proposition and ask thoughtful questions to understand prospective client’s business needs and identify opportunities.
  • Support the National Account Managers with a team approach to generating new appointments.
  • Meet or exceed activity and pipeline targets.
