This Business Development Representative role in Canada involves generating customer meetings, presenting Solotech solutions, and developing new customers by analyzing market potential to identify target industries and prospects within an assigned territory. The role requires maintaining customer data in the CRM system, managing customer files during the acquisition process, and organizing client meetings to understand their objectives, problems, and needs, providing value-added solutions. The representative will also be responsible for developing service offers in cooperation with internal teams, presenting these offers to clients, ensuring they meet expectations, and managing the negotiation process. Participation in activities like tradeshows to promote Solotech’s products and services is expected. The position also involves evaluating client needs to propose innovative technological solutions, assisting clients in selecting suitable equipment, designing specific plans, and preparing quotes based on client needs, price, and contract details. Finally, the role includes supplier management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities.
