The Business Development Representative is responsible for a marketing/sales program that meets or exceeds the strategic growth and diversification goals in conjunction with the CEI's Guiding Principles and Vision Statement and CEI's long-term strategic objectives. Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of fields such as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
  • Four-year college degree, plus 2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • Intermediate: Contact Management, Presentation/PowerPoint
  • Basic: Database, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing

Responsibilities

  • Develop new clients through office visits, telephone communications, and other advanced strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects.
  • Track client information in the company database or other means so that client information is available to management and other group members.
  • Participate in the design of and assist in the execution of the strategic marketing plan.
  • Represent CEI professionally at local, regional, and national trade shows and exhibits.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
