About The Position

At Hudl, we build great teams and foster a culture where everyone feels supported. We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our club and youth sales team. This role will fuel acquisition sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities, exploring emerging markets, creating awareness with prospective customers, and generating leads. BDRs will partner closely with Account Executives and report directly to a sales manager, contributing to sales efforts across multiple territories with opportunities for rapid growth into other sales roles at Hudl. This role is ideal for individuals who are motivated by exceeding goals and possess strong organizational skills, comfortable working in a remote environment. Experience with sales tools like Salesforce, Slack, and Google Drive is essential.

Requirements

  • College degree required.
  • Negotiation, prospecting, objection handling, and closing deals skills.
  • High motivation and a desire to beat personal records and continuously improve.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage territory and prospect outreach.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment.
  • Sales-stack experience with Salesforce, Slack, and Google Drive.

Nice To Haves

  • SaaS experience.
  • Knowledgeable about sports (athlete, coach, or administrator in club or high school sports).

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales leads through outbound prospecting.
  • Qualify inbound leads.
  • Set up meetings between qualified prospects and account executives.
  • Develop, test and refine acquisition sales strategies.
