Youth Sports Coach
About The Position
Youth Athletes United is seeking coaches for their multi-sport enrichment program, Amazing Athletes. Amazing Athletes has been running since 2003 and has enrolled over 50,000 kids annually. The program focuses on providing a fun and fundamental-based sports experience for children, aiming to instill healthy habits and life skills. Coaches will utilize ready-made curriculums and receive extensive training. The coaching approach emphasizes individual attention, a non-competitive and stress-free environment, and positive reinforcement to ensure every child experiences success and has fun.
Requirements
- Availability on weekdays between 9:00-11:00 am and 3:00-5:00 pm.
- Availability on weekends between 8:00 am-1:00 pm.
- Open-mindedness and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to receive feedback and strive for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Utilize individual attention to ensure every child has success.
- Implement a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun and create a stress-free environment.
- Use positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate success.
- Follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual & Curriculum.
- Attend trainings to continuously improve coaching skills.
Benefits
- Earn $20/hr, with potential to earn up to $25/hr.
