About The Position

Our client is an early-stage healthcare AI company transforming clinical trial recruitment through intelligent automation. The company is solving one of healthcare’s most expensive operational bottlenecks: patient recruitment for clinical trials. Today, approximately 80% of clinical trials are delayed due to patient enrollment challenges, costing the industry millions of dollars per day in delays. Their AI-powered voice and SMS agents automate patient engagement workflows, allowing clinical research sites to scale recruitment efforts dramatically while improving conversion rates. Backed by Andreessen Horowitz and other top healthcare operators, the company has already achieved strong commercial traction, working with 7 of the top 15 research site networks in the U.S. and supporting over 500,000+ patient interactions across 190+ clinical sites. With a lean, high-performing team and proven product-market fit, they are now hiring their first foundational sales hires to build outbound pipeline generation from the ground up. Requirements

  • 1–2 years of SDR / BDR experience in high-volume outbound sales OR exceptionally hungry early-career candidates with strong competitive backgrounds
  • Strong cold calling experience as a primary outbound motion
  • Proven track record of quota attainment or high performance
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced startup environments
  • Highly coachable with strong competitive drive
  • Excellent verbal communication and objection-handling ability
  • Willing to work fully onsite in San Francisco

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at companies with strong sales training programs (Ramp, Rippling, Brex, Verkada, Deel, Gusto, Samsara, etc.)
  • Experience selling into healthcare, life sciences, or technical B2B buyers
  • Experience using AI-native GTM tooling
  • Familiarity with tools like: Clay CRM systems, Sequencing platforms, AI outbound automation tools
  • Former collegiate/professional athlete or similar competitive background
  • Experience helping build sales motion in ambiguous startup environments
  • Strong polished LinkedIn / professional presence

Responsibilities

  • Own high-volume outbound pipeline generation through cold calling
  • Execute daily outbound prospecting campaigns targeting clinical research sites
  • Book qualified meetings for the GTM team
  • Develop deep mastery of the company’s product, ICP, and value proposition
  • Qualify prospects through consultative conversations
  • Build and iterate outbound messaging, call scripts, and sequences
  • Partner closely with leadership to refine sales strategy
  • Maintain clean CRM hygiene and outbound activity tracking
  • Help build the foundational outbound sales playbook
  • Identify new pipeline opportunities and expansion strategies
  • Provide direct market feedback to GTM and product leadership
