About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help expand our presence throughout the Manchester–Londonderry region. This role is perfect for a relationship-focused professional who enjoys networking, prospecting, and developing long-term partnerships with local businesses and community organizations. If you’re driven by building connections, identifying new opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, we’d love to meet you. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in growing new business relationships while supporting the expansion of commercial banking and deposit services throughout your assigned territory.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, outside sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a territory-based role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

  • Banking or financial services experience preferred
  • college degree preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial banking, deposit products, or lending services is a plus
  • Strong networking, relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and community outreach
  • Generate new deposit relationships and identify commercial lending opportunities
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using proactive prospecting strategies
  • Represent the organization at networking events, business associations, and community functions
  • Develop strategies to increase market awareness and business growth within the territory
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with business owners, community leaders, and referral partners
  • Meet with prospective clients to understand their financial and banking needs
  • Deliver consultative recommendations tailored to each client’s goals
  • Maintain regular follow-up to strengthen relationships and encourage long-term partnerships
  • Assist new clients during onboarding and account setup
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Serve as a trusted resource for clients seeking banking products and financial solutions
  • Support ongoing relationship management to improve client retention and satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity, referrals, and client interactions
  • Monitor progress toward business development goals and pipeline performance
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable banking regulations
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership regarding sales activities and market opportunities
