Business Development Representative (BDR)

Teamwork.comDenver, CO
$60,000 - $70,000Hybrid

About The Position

Teamwork.com is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their Revenue team. In this hybrid role based in Denver, you will identify high-potential prospects, initiate conversations, understand their challenges, and qualify them for an Account Executive (AE). This is a strategic role focused on targeted outreach using buyer intent data, research, and personalization, rather than generic spam. You will be responsible for making calls, writing engaging emails, and building relationships with senior leaders. The company emphasizes a structured learning environment, providing training and a clear career path from BDR to AE and potentially sales leadership. You will work closely with the AE team and sales leadership, gaining insights into deal development and learning essential sales techniques. The role involves selling a solution that helps operations leaders improve profitability and delivery by providing crucial margin data. You will utilize tools like HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify companies in growth mode and track engagement signals.

Requirements

  • Genuinely curious about business and how companies work.
  • Smart about communication: think before speaking, write clearly, read a room, and understand when to move forward or pause.
  • Resilient and unsentimental about rejection; understand that cold outreach has a failure rate and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Growth-minded: eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable with tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator; willing to learn and leverage software effectively.

  • Qualify opportunities, not just check boxes.
  • Work directly with assigned Account Executives to build territory plans, align on priorities, and ensure smooth handoffs.
  • Act as an early sensor for the business by sharing market feedback, common objections, competitive intelligence, and insights from prospect interactions.
  • Maintain data discipline in HubSpot, including activity logging, deal tracking, and forecast accuracy, to ensure the effectiveness of outreach strategies.
