The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for contacting new and existing customers to discuss current sales promotions, create excitement, and set appointments for customers. This role involves responding to inbound phone calls and internet inquiries to build customer trust and drive dealership visits. The BDR will also follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, generate referrals, and perform all other Business Development selling duties as assigned. A key aspect of this role is engaging in all training directed by the BDC Manager, adhering to BDC scripts and guidelines for all calls, and ensuring prompt and professional handling of all inquiries. The BDR must develop a comprehensive understanding of product information, dealership inventory, and sales promotions. Proficiency with the BDC CRM Software and associated products is essential, ensuring all data entered is consistent and accurate. Maintaining knowledge of current advertising, inventory, and dealership personnel schedules is also required. The BDR must understand and adhere to dealership and BDC department policies and procedures, consistently striving to meet and exceed individual goals for appointments set, appointments shown, and outbound calls made. This role serves as a crucial communication link between the client and the dealership, ensuring effective and quick relay of information to and from the sales department.
