About The Position

Numeric is seeking a creative and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their team and accelerate outreach efforts. As a BDR, you will be responsible for opening doors for the sales team to have strong conversations with potential clients, directly influencing the company's growth. This role involves mastering cold calling, personalized email and LinkedIn outreach, managing creative account campaigns, advancing customer conversations for free product inquiries and demos, nurturing relationships with potential clients, and collaborating with the go-to-market team. BDRs also own a 10% project outside their core responsibilities to propel the company forward and build skills for future roles. There are opportunities to grow into full cycle sales, marketing efforts, or other career paths within Numeric.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with 0-3 years of experience.
  • Interest in joining a high-growth startup and contributing to its growth.
  • Hypothesis that sales or marketing could be a strong fit for skill set.
  • Driven, loves a challenge, and sets ambitious goals.
  • Track record of being disciplined, organized, and getting things done.
  • Personable with natural communication skills.
  • Ability to easily connect with new people.
  • Excited about starting from the ground up and building a strong foundation.
  • Enjoys charting a path and figuring things out for the first time.
  • Excited about the prospect of re-shaping an industry and diving deep to learn about customers.

Responsibilities

  • Master cold calling and hyper-personalized email and LinkedIn messages to capture attention.
  • Manage creative campaigns for target accounts, including message strategy, outreach methods, and experimentation.
  • Own customer conversations for those interested in the free product and a subset of demos, honing communication and sales navigation skills.
  • Nurture and build relationships with potential clients when the timing is not right for immediate engagement.
  • Work closely with the go-to-market team (marketing, growth, sales, partnerships).
  • Own a 10% project outside of core job responsibilities to help propel the company forward and build skills.
