CoLab is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join its growing business development team. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual skilled at initiating conversations and learning from each interaction. This role is designed for individuals driven to pursue a career path that often leads to Account Executive positions. The BDR will be responsible for researching engineering leaders, engaging them in meaningful conversations, and generating qualified pipeline in the form of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs) for the Account Executive team. The role requires the ability to work independently while also valuing team collaboration to refine strategies. Comfort with technical subject matter and cold calling is essential, as is the ability to communicate with individuals across all organizational levels.
