Imply is looking for a motivated and curious Business Development Representative (BDR) to help grow the adoption of their newest product, Imply Lumi. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, fast-evolving space and enjoys engaging with technical buyers (SREs, DevOps, etc.). As a BDR, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers and will play a critical role in building the pipeline and educating the market on Imply Lumi.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated
  • A passion for research as well as strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to make formal and informal presentations to staff and clients
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals
  • Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on observability or SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Cribl, etc

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (email, LinkedIn, events, and target campaigns).
  • Research heavily into accounts to maximize the value of outreach
  • Qualify inbound leads and guide early-stage discovery conversations
  • Educate prospects on the value of Imply Lumi use cases
  • Partner with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities and support deal progression
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to refine messaging and campaign targeting
  • Maintain accurate activity & pipeline tracking in SFDC
  • Continuously learn about the product, the landscape and SaaS industry trends
